IIT Goa Invites Applications for 3-Week Research Internship
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Goa in an attempt to do away with India’s major problem of low numbers in research per annum in the field of science and technology, under its Science and Research Boards (SERB) accelerating VIGYAN scheme is conducting a three-week online research internship program at its school of physical sciences.
This internship program is meant for students with scientific interests and who have the pursuit to develop research skills in nuclear science and metaphysics. Selected candidates will get to work on a project titled “Probing the QCD matter produced at RHIC and LHC”. Students who are currently pursuing their MSc. or masters in physics and who have a minimum of 60 percent in their BSc are eligible to apply for this program. How to apply for the IIT Goa internship program:
Eligible and interested candidates have to fill the Google form available at IIT Goa’s official website iitgoa.ac.in till 29th of September, 2021 (before 6 pm IST) in order to submit their application. With the application, they have to submit a Non-Objection Certificate (NOC) signed by the head of the department and also the head of the institute stating that the student has the consent of the institute to pursue this internship and proving the affiliation of the student with that institute.
The students will require a Google account to fill the Google form and the following details are to be filled in by them:
Personal Email ID, Name, Gender, Phone number, Educational Institution, Curriculum vitae or CV, UG mark sheet, Name of institute/college where the student is currently enrolled for MSc., No Objection Certificate (NOC) in a pdf format
